The proposal for the Temporary Gallery Competition explores the use of the traffic cone as a building block that bridges urbanism, art and architecture. We focused on studying the traffic cone’s capacity to form new systems -- topographies, surfaces and spaces -- through their appropriation and choreography. When cut at different heights, new potentials and re-use applications of the traffic cone emerged: from planters, to a diversity of architectonic components like brise-soleils, permeable surfaces, and furniture.

This competition was done in collaboration with Hector Tarrido-Picart.
