What is ae.i.ou ?
ae.i.ou is a design and research collective based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and composed of four young architects: Victor Nieto, Pedro J. Santa, Manuel Colon and Ivan Perez. The group was assembled as a collaborative platform that would facilitate the development of interdisciplinary projects. Through these they investigate different perspectives of the urban, such as: visual narratives, ephemeral architectures, and forms of urban activation. In the pursuit to provoke thought and discover new grounds for action, it is important to understand that design does not begin with the right proposals but rather with the right questions.
